Homemade Card

Have you ever made a homemade card?  I typically create scrapbook pages with my ever-growing paper and embellishments stash, and stick to just buying my cards.  However,  I recently decided to try making my own homemade card , and I’m so glad that I did!

Making a homemade card was actually pretty fun, took WAY less time than a scrapbook page, and is a great way to show someone you care!

Beautiful Homemade Card

I started with the gorgeous honeycomb die from the Overall Patterns Set from the new Sizzix Life Made Simple Thinlits die collection.  This die was screaming my name, so of course I had to listen and use it, right?  I turned the honeycomb portion glittery and gold, and played around with it all a bit more to come up with this girly bright pink and gold card.  I am very happy with the results, and I am definitely seeing more homemade cards in my future!

Happy crafting!  Have a great weekend!
