Filled with some essentials and a few splurges, this guest welcome basket is not only useful but looks pretty and is sure to excite your out of town guests! Hover over the image below to start shopping on Amazon for your own guest welcome basket… or even for yourself! 😉
Guest Welcome Basket Tutorial
- Basket or galvanized pail
- Bottles of water
- Slippers (Bonus points if they have glitter and fur)
- Small candle
- Philips® Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 Rechargeable Toothbrush
- Fresh fruit
- Rolled white hand towels
- Candy canes or other tasty treats
STEP 1. First you’ll need a basket or pail to put everything inside. A shallow basket is better because then you can see the items inside easier. If you use a deeper basket, you might need to place some shredded paper or other filler inside to raise the items up.
STEP 2. Roll up some new white hand towels. Line them up in the back of the basket.
STEP 3. I really wanted to spoil this year, so I included a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush in our guest welcome basket. Talk about pampering!
The Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9500 Rechargeable Toothbrush was named one of Oprah’s Favorite things in 2017, and I had the chance to try a DiamondClean Smart for myself.. This toothbrush cares for your whole mouth, including teeth, gums, and tongue, and is Philips’ best ever toothbrush for complete oral care.
Smart brush heads automatically select optimal mode and intensity. It also features Smart Sensor technology for personlized feedback and coaching. How cool is that?!
STEP 4. Behind the toothbrush I added some brand new comfy cozy glitter slippers that look even more sparkly in person. What woman wouldn’t love getting surprised with those?
STEP 5. Lastly I added a small candle, perfect for guests to feel right at home when relaxing in bed. I also added some snacks and drinks to the basket.
Two bottles of water, some apples, and a couple giant cinnamon candy canes were the perfect touch to finish off this sweet guest welcome basket.
I hope this tutorial helped you come up with some ideas for treating your out of town guests this holiday season, or even gave you a gift idea for a family member or friend! It always feels so nice to be welcomed and loved, and this welcome gift basket is meant to do just that.
