Here’s something delicious you can make with Bolthouse Farms Orange + Carrot Juice- Orange Carrot Bread!
This bread is a cinch to make, and tastes great for breakfast, a snack, or anytime you’re craving a little something sweet. This bread has a cake-like consistency, and my kids said it’s the best bread they’ve ever eaten. “Homemade is always best, mom!” my son said after his first bite. Smart kid. Here’s the easy recipe…
Orange Carrot Bread
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup Bolthouse Farms Carrot + Orange Juice
- 1/4 cup milk
- zest of one orange
1. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, and add to the butter and sugar mixture.
2. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Mix the carrot + orange juice with the milk in a separate bowl. Add the liquids and sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternately, a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the orange zest.
3. Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray. Pour and smooth the batter into the loaf pan, and bake in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until the bread springs back lightly when touched in the center. Cool in the pan.
Once cool, remove, slice and enjoy your tasty orange carrot bread!
If your family is anything like mine, this bread will not last long!
