Living in San Diego, it’s pretty much a given that I love Mexican food. Everywhere you turn here, there’s a Mexican food shop or restaurant with amazingly delicious salsa, guacamole, carne asada, and the list goes on and on.
Today I’ve got a really good salsa recipe for you that rivals the addicting salsa found at your favorite Mexican food restaurant. Yes, this recipe is THAT good!
Not only is this restaurant style salsa recipe delicious, it’s very easy to make in just 5 minutes! This is a recipe you definitely will want to try- it’s a keeper!
Easy Restaurant Style Salsa Ingredients:
- 2 cans of Rotel with Cilantro & Lime (include the liquid)
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- Big bunch of cilantro leaves (stems removed)
- 1/4 of jalapeno (seeds and ribs removed)
- Juice of one lime
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cumin
Pulse all the ingredients in your food processor blender until you reach desired consistency.
Eat and enjoy!
I usually double this batch and store it in the fridge in a mason jar, but it doesn’t last very long around here.
Homemade salsa and chips taste great with the new Cheesy Chicken Quesadilla Pace® Ready Meals. Pace® and Prego® Ready Meals are so easy and quick to make. All you have to do is heat, tear, and eat!
We are all constantly on the go at my house with all of the practices, rehearsals, activities, and events for school, church, drama, dance, and everything else. Life gets crazy, so it’s nice to know that I have a quick eating option for those busy days.
The new Cheesy Chicken Quesadilla Pace® Ready Meals had a nice spicy flavor and was surprisingly filling. I love that the pouch can also double as a bowl for those on-the-go moments when I barely have time to sit and eat. Next time I make this I’m going to put it inside a tortilla to make a burrito. Yum!
