Thank you Breton for sponsoring this post. Make everyday entertaining better with Breton!
Anyone that knows me knows that I love to entertain. I love planning out each little detail and making the perfect food to serve to guests. Recently I created an absolutely delicious lemon blackberry cranberry crackers appetizer that I can’t wait to share with you today!
These treats are an appetizer, but they are so sweet and delicious that they could also be called dessert too! Fresh blackberries, lemon curd, grated lemon zest, and a light dusting of powdered sugar take these hors d’oeuvres over the top.
The true star of the show, however, are the Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains crackers. They have such a wonderful, wholesome flavor with a light cranberry taste that pairs well with the lemon and blackberry flavors.
Lemon Blackberry Cranberry Crackers
- Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers
- Lemon curd (available in the grocery store near the jam)
- A lemon
- Powdered sugar
Step 1. Spread a thin layer of lemon curd on a Breton Cranberry and Ancient Grains cracker.
If you’ve never tried lemon curd, then you’re in for a treat! It’s a delicious spread that’s full of bright lemon flavor and tastes great on scones, bread, and crackers.
Step 2. Dust some powdered sugar on top, then sprinkle a few blackberries onto the lemon curd.
Step 3. Top each cracker with some freshly grated lemon zest.
Don’t these lemon blackberry cranberry crackers look divine?! Let me tell you, they taste even better than they look, which is saying something.
The powdered sugar adds a bit of sweetness to the lemon curd, lemon zest, and blackberries, while the cracker grounds the flavors.
These tasty treats are perfect to serve at your next dinner party, get together, or just because. They’re also easy enough to whip up when you just want a quick snack, because you can make as few or as many as you’d like. With Breton’s variety of flavors and textures, they’re perfect for any occasion!
Give these lemon blackberry cranberry crackers a try. I promise you won’t regret it!
