Snow Globe Mason Jar Toppers {for Holiday Giving!}

Pretty packaging always makes a gift even better. These snow globe mason jar toppers I’m sharing with you today are just darling and are perfect for packaging up a cute gift inside a mason jar!

You can make these sweet snow globe mason jar toppers in bulk and knock out a handful of gifts all at once, which is a great way to save some time this busy holiday season. Just follow these simple directions to make your own!

Snow Globe Mason Jar Toppers

Supplies:

Wide mouth mason jars
White spray paint
Medium clear ornaments
Iridescent glitter
Mod Podge
Paintbrush
Miniature figures, ornaments, tiny bottle brush trees, etc.
Glue gun

Directions:

STEP 1. Hot glue the inside top rim of the mason jar lid (the part that you screw on), then press the round top inside and hold for a few seconds. Place the lid down and spray paint the top and sides of the lid with white spray paint in light, multiple coats until completely covered.

Sprinkle some iridescent glitter on top after you spray the last coat of spray paint, then let dry. Once dry, shake off excess glitter.

STEP 2. Arrange miniature figures, trees, etc. onto the top of each mason jar lid. Use hot glue to attach each figure.

The gingerbread man and sign that I used actually are hard candy that came with our gingerbread kit. They were too cute not to use! The white ornaments and cute gifts I found at Michaels.

Take one half of a clear ornament and add a thin line of hot glue to the base. Firmly press the ornament onto the top of the glittered jar lid and hold for a few seconds. Let glue cool.

STEP 3. Fill up the mason jar with whatever you’d like! I added large red gumballs (or Rudolph noses) to one jar, mini candy canes to another, and peppermints to another.

You could also add a gift card with some packaged candy, small toys, money, and more.

These snow globe mason jar toppers are such a creative way to give a fun gift! These would make awesome teacher gifts, neighbor gifts, would make a great decoration at home for Christmas, and would be fun to serve candy in at a party. The sky is the limit!
