I’m so excited to share with you an EASY party confetti tutorial.
DIY confetti is a great way to add some pizzaz to a party table, invitations, and more!
Today I’m focusing on how to make some fun confetti for a bachelorette party, but you can make your own customized confetti for any party theme you would like. Amazing, right?!
I used my Cricut Maker to make my party confetti, but you could also use a Cricut Explore Air 2.
If you’re not sure what the Cricut Maker is, then be sure to check out my post here that goes over what it is and why you need a Cricut Maker in your life.
It can do all of the things that the Cricut Explore Air 2 does PLUS it can cut fabric, felt, mat board, balsa wood, and SO much more!
Bachelorette Party Confetti Tutorial
Supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- Glitter silver cardstock
- Dark pink cardstock
- Peach or light pink cardstock
- Cricut scraper tool or weeder tool
Step 1. Go to Cricut Design Space and load this project, or create your own design you would like for your confetti.
Make sure the object you use is the size you want your confetti to be.
Press the green “Make It” button on the bottom of the page.
Step 2. Load your Cricut mat with a 12 x 12″ piece of glitter silver card stock, or other colored paper if you created your own design.
At the top of the screen where it says “Project Copies” change the number to 143.
Press “Continue” at the bottom of the page, then follow the prompts to cut the glitter silver rings.
Make sure to use the glitter cardstock setting.
After the rings are all cut, remove the outer cardstock square by peeling it up.
Use the scraper tool to separate the confetti by running the thin edge along the mat with pressure to pop off the confetti pieces.
You could also use the weeding tool to remove the confetti if you prefer.
Step 3. Repeat the same process as above a second time with the peach or light pink cardstock to cut the hearts.
Change the “Project Copies” number to 288 for a full page of hearts.
Step 4. Repeat the same process as above with a third time with the dark pink cardstock to cut the lips.
Change the “Project Copies” number to 221 for a full page of lips.
Now that you’ve got all your glitter rings, hearts, and lips cut, mix them all up and use them to decorate!
This cute confetti is perfect for sprinkling on the table at a bridal shower, bachelorette party, adding to invitations or thank you notes, and so much more!
I can’t wait to make even more confetti for different party themes. Hopefully this confetti tutorial showed you how easy it is to do with the Cricut Maker!
