I was recently experimenting in the kitchen with chocolate when I had the idea to make little spring nests out of the chocolate and some coconut. And guess what, my friends? Total success!
I thought about going with the more realistic chocolate brown color to make these coconut nests, but decided I wanted them lighter. Don’t you just love this pretty blue pastel color for spring?
How to Make a Coconut Nest
Ingredients:
- Chocolate melts in any color you like (I used Wilton’s)
- Shredded coconut
Step 1. Spray the mold
Step 2. Melt the chocolate
Step 3. Mix it up
Place some coconut in a small bowl then add some melted chocolate to it. Mix the two ingredints thoroughly, then drop the mixture by spoonfuls into your molds.
