A big thank you to Disney, Walmart, and Collective Bias, Inc. for sponsoring our Disney Princess Easter Egg Hunt. As always, all ideas and opinions are 100% my own. #DisneyEaster #CollectiveBias
Every year our four kids look forward to our annual Easter egg hunt. They talk about the hunt for days before it actually takes place, and eagerly discuss what they think will be inside their eggs. In addition to our regular egg hunt, I thought it would be fun to throw a Disney Princess Royal Easter Egg Hunt for my daughter and some of her royal friends.
I can’t wait to share the details with you of our fun afternoon!
I used the Disney Princess theme for the party, but since we would be having an Easter egg hunt and it is spring, I also incorporated the garden/spring look as well.
My absolute FAVORITE part of the table was the enchanted rose I put together. I recently bought a beautiful stand and lid that I wanted to include in the table, and when shopping for Walmart for the Easter egg hunt, I saw a pretty pink rose that reminded me of Belle, which reminded me of my lovely stand, and the idea was born. I’ll share a tutorial soon showing exactly how I made it, but isn’t it fun?!
I decorated with some pretty green topiaries that reminded me of a manicured royal garden, as well as a few different areas in Disneyland. 😉
Because this was a royal princess Easter egg hunt, I wanted each girl to have her own Disney Princess Easter basket. I found some really cute baskets at Walmart with a different Disney princess on each side.
The girls loved choosing which princess they wanted showing in the front of their basket, and their favorite princesses changed throughout the whole party since they love them all and couldn’t decide. 😉
I wanted a good mixture of candy and small toys to be inside the eggs. I found the cutest Disney princess items at Walmart that were just perfect for an Easter egg hunt and Easter baskets! Besides all of the items in the Easter section of the store, I also found a bag of Disney princess candy in the party section, which was perfect for filling up some of the eggs. I also found a bag of small Disney princess party favors and toys that were a great fit for the easter eggs, too, as well as some sparkly rings and extra candy.
In the toy section I also found my daughter’s new favorite toys, Princess Palace Pets. They had some small packs with the pet figures inside that were perfect for giving to the girls.
For the royal Easter egg hunt, I counted out ahead of time how many eggs there were so we could make sure we found all of the eggs. I also told the girls how many eggs they could find, and once they reached that amount they knew to stop so their friends could find theirs, too. This worked really well!
The girls’ favorite eggs that I hid were the sparkly glitter ones. They were SO pretty, and the girls were extra excited when they found a glitter egg!
After the Easter egg hunt, I pulled out some awesome Disney princess wood sets that I bought at Walmart that were really well made. Each box contained a wood cutout of a princess, a princess mirror, or wood princess beads, as well as stickers, glitter paint, and more to decorate them with.
The girls LOVED these, and I kid you not, it was absolutely silent for about 30-40 minutes while they each got creative with their princess craft. They were so proud of their creations they got to take home!
I also gave each of the girls a sheet of adhesive rhinestones that they got to decorate their eggs with. They loved adding some princess bling to their eggs, and then they even went on to add them to their princess Easter baskets!
I love the addition of Rapunzel’s diamond belt, Ariel’s diamond earrings, and all of the fun accessories the girls added to the princesses. I loved watching their little creative minds hard at work!
After all of the egg hunting, counting, trading, blinging, decorating, crafting, and smiling, it was time for parents to come. Each girl left with an enchanted rose cupcake, as well as a bag of pink princess cotton candy.
I am so happy that I was able to put together this fun Disney princess Easter egg hunt.
The girls had so much fun together, and it was worth it all to see the smiles on their cute little faces. If you are doing your own Easter egg hunt and/or Easter baskets for your kids this year, be sure to check out Walmart’s selection! They have tons of great things for you to use at great prices!
