I love making cake pops and homemade suckers for my guests at the birthday parties that I throw for family members. They are very fun to make, and I love how they are all individually packaged, which make them easy to serve. But, they can be a little tricky to display, since they look best standing straight up.
Here’s one easy way I’ve come up with to keep those cake pops and suckers standing straight! It is a really easy and inexpensive cake pop and sucker stand (or “anything on a stick stand),” takes literally minutes to make, and can be customized to fit the colors and style of your party! Oh, and you can keep reusing the same stand, but customize it each time for each different party!
Have I convinced you yet that you need to make one of these?
Supplies:
- Styrofoam block 1 15/16″ x 3 7/8″ x 11 7/8 ” (or any other size Styrofoam that you like to make your stand- these can be found at any craft store)
- Any color/pattern/design tissue paper
- Cake pop/sucker stick
- Mod Podge (optional) & paintbrush
And if you’d like to try making your own suckers, here’s my easy tutorial!
