Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing some quick and easy cloud straws for an easy way to add some fun to your drinks! Why drink out of a plain old boring straw when you can sip on one of these cute cloud straws?
These would be great to make for a baby shower, a birthday party, or just for fun.
When I showed these to my three-year old and offered him some milk with one of these straws, his cute little face lit up and he drank that milk faster than I’ve ever seen him drink! This could be a great way to get picky eaters to drink their smoothie, milk, etc.
All I needed to make these straws was my Sizzix Big Shot, the Sizzix Clouds Bigz die, striped straws, and my glue gun.
First I made a Sizzix “sandwich” with a Sizzix cutting pad on the bottom, the Clouds die face up, my white card stock, and the other cutting pad on top. I placed the stack in my Big Shot and rolled it through to get two perfectly cut white clouds. I rolled it through a couple more times to get more clouds for my straws.
I used a dot of hot glue to adhere the clouds to the straws. I’m on cloud 9 (pun intended) when I look at these cute little cloud straws, and I can’t wait to try out more dies to make different straws for different holidays and seasons.
