This DIY Gold Accented Glasses Tutorial is brought to you by SodaStream Power.  All ideas and opinions are always 100% my own.  #WaterMadeExciting #CollectiveBias

I’m a sucker for anything gold and shiny and wanted an easy way dress up some glasses for the holidays.  Today I’ve got the perfect way to add more gold to your life with some pretty DIY gold painted glasses!

DIY Gold Painted Glasses

These DIY gold painted glasses took me just a few minutes each to make but look great filled with a bubbly beverage!  I filled mine with some sparkling water that I made from regular water.  Yes, your read that right.  I made sparkling water!  It’s actually really easy too, and I’ll share how I made it after the DIY.

DIY GOLD PAINTED GLASSES

Supplies:

  • Glassware (wine glasses, champagne glasses, etc.)
  • Gold paint (that is safe for glass)
  • Small paintbrush

Step 1.  Wash your glassware to clean it really well so the paint will adhere better.

Step 2.  Pour a little gold paint onto a paper plate or paint tray, then dip the round top (not the brush end) into the gold paint.

Step 3.  Dot the brush top onto the bottom of the glass a few times.  Repeat.  Let dry.

It looks good to have lots of dots close together on the bottom, then add less and less dots toward the top.  This look mimics the look of the bubbles in your drink too!

Now about that drink.  I don’t drink alcohol, so I like to fill my new fancy gold glasses with sparkling water that I make.

SodaStream Power Sparkling Water Maker

I’m so excited to share the how to!  I have a SodaStream Power Automatic Sparkling Water Maker (which is the world’s #1 sparkling water brand)that makes a liter of sparkling water for me in less than a minute.  This machine is so cool!

All I have to do is fill a 1 liter bottle with regular water (cold tastes baste), press a button on the top to tell the machine how much fizz I want, and then in just a few seconds I have a container full of carbonated water!

SodaStream Power Flavors

I can then drink the water as is, add some flavoring, or create my own flavoring.  I love the pre-made flavors, SodaStream Sparkling Drink Mixes, and one capful flavors the entire liter of sparkling water.  They are low-calorie, are made with all-natural sweeteners and colors, and come in flavors like Cranberry Raspberry, Lime Basil, Blackcurrant Lime, Berry Mix, and more.  YUM!

I love that I now have a way to mix up the way that I drink my water.  With the SodaStream Power I can still get the daily intake of water that I need, but can add a little more fun to it.  This is a great way to reduce your soda intake too if you like carbonation but are trying to cut back on soda.
