DIY Picture Frame with Duck Tape®

With a roll of Duck Tape® and a basic plain picture frame, you can create your own customized frame that will better fit your style, personality, and room decor.

The great thing is that Duck tape® comes in so many different cool patterns and designs. The hardest part will be picking a favorite!

DIY Picture Frame Supplies

• Printed Duck Tape®- Tortoise (or any other design you’d like)
• Picture frame
• Scissors or a craft knife

This craft works best with a frame that has flat, straight sides. I found some basic frames at Walmart that worked great.

Picture Frame Craft

Step 1. Press a piece of Duck Tape® onto each of the shorter sides of a picture frame so that there is about an inch of excess tape on each end.

Step 2. Cut diagonal slits into the tape on each corner of the frame.

Step 3. Press down the pieces of tape so they are nice and smooth.

Step 4. Press a piece of tape onto each of the longer sides of the frame so that there is about an inch of excess tape on each end.

Step 5. Cut diagonal slits into the tape on each corner of the frame, and press down the pieces of tape so they are nice and smooth.

Step 6. Add a photo to the inside of the frame and proudly display in your home.
