This post brought to you by Krazy Glue. All opinions are 100% mine.
Summer decorations are my absolute favorite. I am obsessed with anything nautical, so I love incorporating anchors, seashells, driftwood, and anything else associated with the ocean into my home! I recently created an easy DIY seashell wreath that I wanted to share with you today. It’s an easy and beautiful way to bring the beach into your own home for the summer!
To make my DIY seashell wreath, I went to the craft store and picked up the following supplies:
- Seashells, starfish, driftwood, etc.
- Wreath
- White spray paint
- Krazy Glue
I decided to use Krazy Glue for my adhesive for this wreath instead of a glue gun. I like that I didn’t need to use electricity for this wreath, which meant that I was able to glue much of the seashells on the wreath in the car while waiting to pick up my kids from school! I love to multitask, and Krazy Glue helps me create masterpieces in minutes, with no glue strands.
Here’s how you can make your own DIY Seashell Wreath:
- Spray paint your wood wreath white, using two or three light coats. Let dry.
- Arrange the driftwood and seashells the way that you would like them on the painted wreath. Apply a small amount of Krazy Glue to the back of a seashell. Press the seashell down onto the wreath for about 30 seconds.
Repeat for each nautical element that is going on the wreath.
And that’s it! This is a project that is impressive, but really is so simple to make!
I liked using Krazy Glue Craft Gel because it didn’t run or drip. It worked really well to bond the tiny, detailed objects, like my small seashells and tiny starfish. I also didn’t have to worry about getting burned like I do with my glue gun.
So what would you like to create with Krazy Glue?
