I love the changing of each new season. With the official start of fall behind us, I threw a small get together to celebrate pumpkins, sweaters, tall boots, colorful leaves, and the cool crisp air that I know will be here soon!
Today I’m sharing all the details with you, plus a recipe for a Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip that is BEYOND amazing!
I wanted my party to have lots of pumpkins, fall leaves, pinecones, and oranges, yellows, browns, and reds.
To prepare, I bought some pretty sunflowers and fall leaves in those gorgeous warm fall colors. I also picked up lots of mini orange and white pumpkins and gourds, and pulled out my pinecones. I love the feeling of nature and being outdoors that these natural items gave to the party.
Before you buy anything, be sure to shop your home first. You might be surprised at how many decorations and things that you already have that can work for your get together!
To add to the feeling of nature and the outdoors, I took two twig tablecloths and put them together to make a runner. I added a wood cutting board, a wood slice platter, and two wood bowls to serve the food on.
My favorite treat at the party was the Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip that I made. It was SO delicious!!
This Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip is SO light and fluffy, and tastes just like a nice rich piece of pumpkin pie, complete with the spices and earthy pumpkin flavor. The dip is so smooth and fluffy and has a great texture. It is very addicting!
You can eat this pumpkin dip with lots of things- apple slices, pretzels, snickerdoodles, gingersnaps, graham crackers…. The list goes on and on!
The Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip recipe I’m about to share with you makes a lot of dip, too. It’s perfect for fall entertaining, and is great for a crowd. The amount of dip in the large wood bowl in these photos is only HALF of the dip this recipe made! You can half the recipe if you’d like, but I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed if you make the whole thing.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 15 oz. can 100% Pumpkin (NOT pumpkin-pie filling)
- 8 oz. package of cream cheese (I used Greek yogurt cream cheese)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. all spice
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1 tub whipped topping (that’s been in the fridge for a bit, not frozen)
Add all of the ingredients together, except for the whipped topping, in a large mixing bowl. Mix until nice and smooth. I used my stand mixer for this, but you could also use a hand mixer. Fold in the whipped topping with a spatula, and carefully incorporate until all ingredients are mixed in. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Like I mentioned above, this pumpkin dip tastes great with cut apple slices, pretzels, cookies, crackers, and whatever else you can find to dip.
It really is amazing how fluffy and light this dip is! It has a great flavor, and if you love pumpkin or pumpkin pie, this dip will become a new favorite!
I also served cinnamon rolls at the party, which are another fall favorite of mine. Donut holes were another tasty treat we enjoyed. We had a great night, and everyone commented on how great the decorations and the table looked.
I hope you’ve gotten some ideas on how to set up a fall table and party!
