Today I’ve got a yummy fall snack mix recipe that I’m excited to share with you!
My kids come home from school absolutely starving every day, and if I don’t have a snack ready and waiting for them, they get really grumpy. I recently came up with this easy fall trail mix to give them as an afterschool snack.
I make a big batch of this fall snack mix in just a few minutes, put it in a plastic container with a lid, and then get some ready for when the kids come home. It’s such an easy way to feed their afterschool hunger!
Fall Snack Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Honey Nut Cheerios Cereal
- 3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 1 bag microwave popcorn (I used cinnamon flavored- yum!)
- 8 oz. candy corn
- 8 oz. fall autumn mix (candy corn, pumpkins, etc.)
- 8 oz. peanut butter candies
Microwave the popcorn, following the manufacturer’s directions. Pour the popcorn in a bowl and let cool before adding the other ingredients.
Once the popcorn is cool, add all of the ingredients and stir. Store in a plastic container with a lid or seal it up in a large ziplock bag.
Happy fall!
