One of my favorite trends right now are those gorgeous floral hoop wreaths made with fresh flower blooms. Today I’m going to share with you how to make your own floral hoop wreath. It’s simple and is a wonderful way to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside your home!
This floral hoop wreath is clean, modern, cheery, and uses realistic-looking silk flowers instead of real ones, which means you can display the wreath year-round and not have to worry about throwing away droopy blooms.
Hoop wreaths are great for home decor, to hang on your front door, to display above a party table or crib, or even as a wedding decoration. You could even lay these flat and use as centerpieces on a party table- just add candles or food in the middle of the wreath.
Feel free to customize your own wreath with your favorite flowers, favorite colors, or use seasonal flowers and switch out your wreaths for each season. There are so many pretty possibilities so get creative!

- Hot glue gun
How to Make a Floral Hoop Wreath
Step 1. Attach the greenery to the Gold macrame hoop
When you’re done it should look something like this. I made my greenery go a little more than halfway up the sides of the gold hoop. I also used a variety of greenery and leaves to keep it interesting.
Step 2. Holding a large silk flower in one hand and the stem in the other, pull the flower off the stem. Add hot glue to the back of the flower and press it onto the green leaves very carefully.
Hold it in place while the glue cools, then repeat for each flower that you are using.
Step 3. Once all the flowers are glued in place, hold up the floral hoop wreath and make sure that everything stays in place and looks the way you want it. Add more glue or wire if necessary so that everything is nice and secure.
Isn’t she gorgeous? My wreath is hanging in my living room right now and I still can’t believe those flowers aren’t real!
It was a gorgeous day so I couldn’t resist taking a few photos outside as the sun was setting. A few of these pretty floral hoop wreaths grouped together above a table would make a beautiful party backdrop, don’t you think?
I used some of these same flowers to make these lovely flower paper lanterns.
These gorgeous tepee flowers at our boho party also used some of these flowers. You’ll love all the pretty details!
A charcuterie plate with real flowers would look perfect with these flowers too! Learn how to make a charcuterie and cheese plate HERE.
