Airplane Valentines Printable {FREE + So Cute!)

Print darling airplane Valentines for FREE! Just print the valentines for friends, then add a toy airplane for a cute candy-free valentine.

Most valentines that your kids bring home from school are pretty…. well, boring.

I’m trying to add a little more thought and originality to my kids’ Valentine’s Day cards this year.

What better way to do that than to make homemade valentines myself?

Airplane Valentine Cards

I spotted some cute little plane toys at the dollar store that were PERFECT for making some free printable valentines for you (and me)!

If you can’t find any toy airplanes at your local store, Amazon has some pull back airplane toys or foam gliders that would work great!

They come in bulk so there should be enough for two classrooms if you have multiple kids or want to use them for two different years.

I made it really easy to print, add a toy plane, and pass out to friends!

Why Make These?

Your kids will be the coolest because their friends will get a toy.

Your child won’t be passing out more candy, which I as a mom definitely appreciate (just what kids need more of these days, right?).

Also, these are original valentines that no one else in the class will be passing out.

Students won’t be receiving duplicates of this one! 😉

It’s a win win.

Oh, and the package of toy planes only costed me $1 for five planes (at the time of posting), so 20 cents per valentine is totally reasonable.

$5 for a class set for my kindergartner.

How to Make Airplane Valentines

Here are the easy directions to make your own class set of airplane valentines.

Valentine Supplies

Free printable airplane valentines
Toy planes (5 for $1 at the dollar store)
Glue gun (or glue dots)
Scissor or paper cutter

First, print and cut the free printable plane valentines.

Use a small dot of hot glue on each wheel and under the front of the plane to attach the airplanes to each card.

Have your child sign his name on each one, and they’re ready to go!!

How to Print the Airplane Valentines

I designed two versions of the cards for you to choose from.

Option 1:

Valentines that have the word “From” in the bottom right corner.

Option 2:

Valentine cards that don’t say the words “from on them, the bottom is just blank.

There are four different sayings on each of the four airplane valentines that you can print, and four cards per page.

Now I just have to hide these valentines so my kids don’t start playing with the planes before they can pass them out!

Oh, and if you’re worried about using hot glue to stick the planes on, don’t worry.

If you use just a small dot of glue in each spot, the plane comes off if you pull it just a little bit.

The glue will definitely hold it in place for your kids to pass them out.

Just add a couple chocolate coins (dollar store carries these too!) for a unique and adorable boy valentine!
