Print darling airplane Valentines for FREE! Just print the valentines for friends, then add a toy airplane for a cute candy-free valentine.
Most valentines that your kids bring home from school are pretty…. well, boring.

I spotted some cute little plane toys at the dollar store that were PERFECT for making some free printable valentines for you (and me)!
Why Make These?
Your kids will be the coolest because their friends will get a toy.
Your child won’t be passing out more candy, which I as a mom definitely appreciate (just what kids need more of these days, right?).
Also, these are original valentines that no one else in the class will be passing out.
Students won’t be receiving duplicates of this one! 😉
It’s a win win.
Oh, and the package of toy planes only costed me $1 for five planes (at the time of posting), so 20 cents per valentine is totally reasonable.
$5 for a class set for my kindergartner.
How to Make Airplane Valentines
Here are the easy directions to make your own class set of airplane valentines.
Valentine Supplies
- Free printable airplane valentines
- Toy planes (5 for $1 at the dollar store)
- Glue gun (or glue dots)
- Scissor or paper cutter
How to Print the Airplane Valentines
Option 1:
Option 2:
Oh, and if you’re worried about using hot glue to stick the planes on, don’t worry.
If you use just a small dot of glue in each spot, the plane comes off if you pull it just a little bit.
The glue will definitely hold it in place for your kids to pass them out.
Here’s another one of my favorites- free printable pirate valentines!
Just add a couple chocolate coins (dollar store carries these too!) for a unique and adorable boy valentine!
Here’s a great Valentine’s Day idea for your other half.
It’s an easy way to open up store-bought fortune cookies, remove the old boring fortune, and add your own steamy fortunes (or use the free printable fortunes I include in the post)!!
Unique, easy, and oh so fun!
And while you’re getting your craft on, these easy heart pillows will make your house look lovely!

Love these- we are going to make these for my 3-year-old’s class. I really wish printables didn’t have color backgrounds- that’s an awful lot of ink!

So glad you like them, Tara! I totally get what you’re saying about the ink. I get all my printables printed at the copy store for just 49 cents a sheet. I figure it will save me money in the long run because my ink cartridges are so expensive. Maybe this might be a better option for you, too?

I loved the airplane Valentine’s Card! Saved me a ton of time! I ordered fun foam mini gliders (kits) to attach to the cards. They turned out great and my son loved helping! Thanks so much! 🙂

I love the airplane Valentine’s card idea and hoping to use but the file is not opening for me. Is it still available?
Thank you!

I just updated the links so they go straight to my site instead of Google drive so it works perfectly now! 🙂

Why can’t I print the airplane Valentine cards without a google account? Google is giving me a problem to make an account. Is there anyway I can print them without a google account? Thank you!!
Laura says
I fixed the link, thanks for letting me know!
