We’ve partnered with Post Pebbles Cereal to bring you these Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Cone Treats.
Today I’ve got a tasty treat to share with you that’s colorful, is fun to make with your kids, and that tastes amazing- Fruity Pebbles ice cream cone treats!
Not only do these little guys taste great, they look amazing as a party treat, and are a fun activity to do with the kids (or yourself).
Store-bought ice cream cones are filled with a marshmallow fruity cereal treat mixture that’s scooped on just like ice cream, then topped with melted chocolate (that hardens up) and a candy cherry on top.
My kids were VERY happy that we got to make these since Post Fruity Pebbles are their favorite cereal! Pebbles inspired us to get creative and make this fun treat.
Follow the recipe and directions below to make your own Fruity Pebbles ice cream cone treats!
Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Cone Treats
Ingredients:
- 5 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- Ice cream cones
- White almond bark and/or pink chocolate melts
- Sour cherry ball candy (one per cone)
Directions:
Step 1. Melt the marshmallows and butter in a small pan over low heat. Stir the mixture until completely melted.
Step 2. Add the Fruity Pebbles cereal and stir until completely mixed.
Step 3. Use a greased ice cream scoop to create scoops of the Fruity Pebbles treats into each ice cream cone.
You can use a spoon beforehand to fill the lower part of each cone with the mixture, fill it with candy, or just leave it empty.
Step 4. Melt the almond bark or chocolate melts according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Use a spoon to drop spoonfuls of the chocolate onto each cone, then place a sour cherry ball candy on top of each one. Let the chocolate harden, then serve!
Aren’t they sweet?!
I love the fun, bright colors of the cereal. It reminds me of confetti! I love how Pebbles adds some fun to my recipes with a vibrant pop of color and yummy fruity flavor.
Needless to say, my kids were pretty excited about our colorful treats made from their favorite cereal.
It just doesn’t get much more fun than this, does it? Grab a cone and treat yourself!
