Every year my kids eagerly await the arrival of our leprechaun, dreaming up elaborate traps and searching for all the gold sparkly objects they can find to attract a witty leprechaun.
This year, however, we’re upping our game with some irresistible leprechaun bait that’s magically delicious and a cinch to make.
Lucky Charms cereal? Check. Mint chocolate M&M’s in 3 different colors of green? Check. Gold shiny chocolate coins to attract those gold-grubbing leprechauns? Check.
Tasty Leprechaun Bait

The best part of this Lucky Charms snack mix is that it can be made in about 5 minutes. Seriously. Just add all the ingredients, mix, and voila! Instant leprechaun food that you’ll find yourself devouring snacking on throughout the day.
Snack Mix Ingredients
- 6 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
- 1 bag microwave butter popcorn, popped (about 6 cups)
- 9.6 oz bag Mint M&M’s
- 8 oz white chocolate pretzels (around 3 cups)
- Gold covered chocolate coins
How to Make Leprechaun Bait
Add all ingredients in a large bowl, mix, and serve.
