Whip up a batch of this tasty leprechaun bait for your leprechaun trap or for an irresistible St. Patrick’s Day treat in just 5 minutes! This tasty treat has the perfect sweet and salty combination that will leave your little leprechauns wanting more.

Every year my kids eagerly await the arrival of our leprechaun, dreaming up elaborate traps and searching for all the gold sparkly objects they can find to attract a witty leprechaun.

This year, however, we’re upping our game with some irresistible leprechaun bait that’s magically delicious and a cinch to make.

Lucky Charms cereal? Check. Mint chocolate M&M’s in 3 different colors of green? Check. Gold shiny chocolate coins to attract those gold-grubbing leprechauns? Check.

Leprechaun Bait

If this sweet leprechaun bait doesn’t attract a leprechaun then I don’t know what will. Except for our baby food jar rainbow cake. 😉

The best part of this Lucky Charms snack mix is that it can be made in about 5 minutes. Seriously. Just add all the ingredients, mix, and voila! Instant leprechaun food that you’ll find yourself devouring snacking on throughout the day.

Another option is to buy cute St. Patrick’s Day cups or bowls and serve the leprechaun food in the individual cups. I scored these fun cups and napkins in the Target Dollar Spot.
