Nightmare Before Christmas Party Favors

If you’re a fan of the Nightmare Before Christmas, then you’ll love our Nightmare Before Christmas party favors that were part of our Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween party!

Nightmare Before Christmas party favor pails with candy and vinyl Jack Skellington

These party favor pails are adorable with Jack on the front of each one, a skull and black and white striped ribbon on top, and filled with yummy treats inside.  Just follow the simple directions below to make your own set of Nightmare Before Christmas party favors that would be perfect for a birthday, Halloween, or Christmas party.

My friends at Oriental Trading sent me some cute white favor pails and striped ribbon for the party.  They have TONS of amazing Halloween supplies and decorations to choose from- you definitely want to check it all out!

Nightmare Before Christmas party favors

DIY Nightmare Before Christmas Party Favors

Supplies:

  • Mini white favor pails
  • Black and white striped ribbon
  • Black vinyl
  • White craft foam
  • Cricut machine
  • Glue gun
  • Candy corn, candy pumpkins, and other Halloween candy

STEP 1.  Go to Cricut Design Space and search ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’.  Choose the Jack design that you would like to use, then follow the directions to print Jack’s face in black vinyl.  Remove the vinyl from the paper and press onto the design onto the front of each pail.

STEP 2.  Follow the same process above to create skulls that fit on the bucket handle.  Use your Cricut machine to cut the skulls out of white craft foam.

STEP 3.  Cut a piece of black and white ribbon and tie it to the top of each pail in a knot.

Glue a skull onto the middle of the ribbon knot with a glue gun.

STEP 4.  Fill each pail with candy.  Aren’t these Nightmare Before Christmas party favors fun?  They’re the perfect size for little hands and look so cute on the party table!

WIth a cutting machine they’re very easy to create too!  If you don’t have a Cricut, you could also find a Jack Skellington design online that you like and cut it out and glue it onto the front of the pail.
