I created a darling Friendsgiving drink station with my favorite gold bar cart for friends to make their own holiday mocktails. It was so easy with this 1 minute Friendsgiving drink recipe I’m sharing.
DIY Cocktail Stir Sticks
Supplies:
- Thin wood dowels (Mine were 1/4″)
- Decorative holiday picks with mini pinecones
- Glue gun
Step 1 . Remove each mini pinecone from the decorative pick. Use scissors to cut off the top stem of each pinecone.
Step 2. Measure the length that you would like your drink stir sticks to be. This will vary depending on the height of the cups that you will be using. If your sticks are too long, then you can cut them down to the right size.
Add a drop of hot glue to the top of a dowel. Carefully press the top of each pinecone onto the top of a dowel and hold in place for a minute while the glue cools. Repeat for each drink stir stick.
Voila! Almost instant cute stir sticks that are perfect for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate!

Isn’t that deep red drink color so festive and pretty?
I set up a drink station on my mirrored gold bar cart by filling up glasses with ice, then sprinkling in a few fresh cranberries over the top for color.
Of course each glass had one of my mini pinecone cocktail stir sticks inside too.
I set out a 2 Liter bottle of Coke, a glass pitcher filled with cranberry juice, and the vanilla.
This way guests could make their own holiday mocktails after some simple instructions.
A beautiful assortment of pumpkins, ornamental gourds, and squash filled the second shelf of my gold bar cart. The colors and textures are deep and rich and are perfect for Friendsgiving!
Regular sized pinecones match the mini pinecone drink stir sticks, and are another pretty addition to a non alcoholic holiday drink station.
