Make these adorable paper utensil holders for your next party or get together.
I’ve got a fun tutorial for you today!
We are going to make pretty paper utensil holders so our plastic silverware looks sleek and sexy.
I found the cutest paper plates at Target from the Design Love Fest collection, and I just couldn’t resist!
I wanted my plastic utensils to look just as amazing as the paper plates, so I made easy paper utensil holders from the Utensil Wrapper Sizzix die.
Aren’t they fun?
Paper Utensil Holders
These silverware holders are a seriously easy way to dress up that table for all those upcoming picnics and parties you’ll be hosting.
Let’s get started!
Supplies
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Sizzix Utensil Wrapper, Scallop die
- Cutting pads
- Colored and pattern paper
- Adhesive- strong glue or double-sided tape
Cut the Utensil Holder Pieces
Make a Sizzix sandwich by stacking a cutting pad, the die face up, some paper pretty side down, and another cutting pad.
Roll it all through the Big Shot.
Assemble the Silverware Holder
Fold along the scored lines on the flat utensil holder.
Use glue or some double-sided tape to adhere the bottom pieces and the side together.
The die also makes a small scalloped rectangle to add to the front.
You can write names or a message on it if you’d like!
I also added a colored piece of paper inside my wrapper, which added more color and pattern.
This isn’t necessary if you used double-sided paper.
Now you can add a colored napkin and plastic utensils into your cute new paper utensil holders.
Aren’t they fun?!
Now I just need to start planning my next party around this amazing color combination.
It doesn’t take much to make me want to throw a party!
What are your favorite party colors right now?
I’m digging pink, mint, coral, turquoise, and gold.
Happy crafting!
