Do you have a little princess in your life? Today I’m sharing how to make a sweet princess crown cupcake topper and bottle topper that are SO adorable and a cinch to make!
If you’ve read my blog, you know I use my Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine for creating all kinds of cute things for parties. One of my favorite dies is a cute princess crown die. It’s perfect for decorating for a princess party or just for fun!
Here’s how to make some cute mini crowns for your little princess. They’d be a great fit for a small doll, too!
Princess Crown Cupcake Topper DIY
Supplies:
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Sizzix Cupcake Wrappers die set
- Cutting pads
- Magnetic Platform for Wafer Thin Dies
- Gold and gold glitter paper
Instructions:
STEP 1. Make a “Sizzix sandwich” by stacking a magnetic platform, a cutting pad, the crown die from the cupcake wrappers set, then the second cutting pad. Roll the stack through your Big Shot machine.
STEP 2. Bring the two ends of the crown together and insert the tab end into the slit on the other side.
Now you’ve got the perfect mini crown! Isn’t it adorable?!
Get creative and add these adorable crowns to your cupcakes, cookies, bottles, daughter’s toys, party favors, and anything else that you can think of!
While you’re at it, you can also make matching cupcake wrappers with one of the dies from the same set. I love all the pretty and intricate details of the wrapper, don’t you?
Happy crafting!
