Looking for a cute, fresh party theme? Look no further than this sweet strawberry party!
So many people have told me that they can’t set up a party table, or they aren’t creative enough to throw a fun party. Not true! My goal is to show you that you CAN do this… anyone can!
I’m going to walk you through how berry simple this strawberry party was to set up. My friends at Oriental Trading Company sent me some awesome strawberry party supplies that really made this party easy to create. They’re my go to place for awesome birthday party supplies at great prices!
Strawberry Party Food
A party needs a cake, so I started with a simple white frosted cake. Here’s a little strawberry cake hack I came up with. Don’t want to spend all day frosting the perfect cake? Yeah, me neither.
Get a store-bought plain cake, then buy some strawberry lollipops. I cut the sucker sticks off the berries, then added a blob of frosting on the back to stick the strawberries onto the cake randomly.
The strawberry cake turned out so cute, and you’d never guess how easy it was to create! Or that the cute strawberries are actually suckers. I won’t tell if you won’t…
Around the cake I scattered some red and green jelly beans for added color and more sugar. 😉
I couldn’t resist these cute strawberry popcorn boxes, so I filled them up with butter popcorn and added them to the table.
And now for my favorite party- those cute plastic strawberry cups! They’re the perfect size and shape, and come with a cute straw, perfect for the littles. FIll the cups with cold water or juice for the cutest drinks ever.
I placed all the strawberry drinks on two white platters covered with more red and green jelly beans.
Strawberry Party Decorations
Two giant red balloons made the perfect giant strawberries to hang above the strawberry party table! I cut some green leaves and used tape to add them to the top of each balloon, then tied a string to the tops of each to hang. I also used a black Sharpie to add small dots to make them look like giant strawberries (instead of giant tomatoes). So easy!
I took apart a red and white tassel garland so I could alternate the red and white colors and hang them from the table. Scotch tape worked perfectly to hang these cute tassels. Bonus points for the fact that it didn’t destroy the paint on my table.
Adorable strawberry favor boxes are perfect for filling up with sweet treats for the party guests, and they also double as decorations for the table.
Thanks for letting me share this strawberry party with you. As much as I love pineapples, maybe it’s the sweet strawberry’s turn for the spotlight? 😉
