You might remember that I am obsessed with Downton Abbey and love throwing elaborate Downton Abbey tea parties. At my tea party last month, I made some tiny little tea bag gift boxes that were too cute for words!
Today I wanted to share how easy it was to make these little lovelies!
Tea Bag Gift Boxes
Supplies:
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Sizzix Tea Bag & Accessories die set
- Cutting pads
- Patterned paper (I used Crate Paper)
- White card stock
- Scissors
- Adhesive
- Adhesive rhinestones (optional)
- Pop dots (optional)
Directions:
Step 1. Place your patterned paper face side down on the tea bag die cut. Place a cutting pad on top of the paper and one underneath the die, then roll it all through the Big Shot.
Step 2. Fold along the creases to shape the tea bag box, and glue using a quick dry adhesive or a glue gun.
Step 3. Take the small tea cup that was cut from the die, and place an adhesive rhinestone in the middle of it using a pop dot.
And there they are, perfect for your next tea party!
These would be especially cute for a little girl’s tea party, too. Just fill with some herbal tea, and place on the table with the tea cups and saucers. You can see how I did that here at my tea party.
