Thank you to Pacific Foods for sponsoring this summer wraps recipes post. As always, all opinions are 100% mine.
With summer nearing an end, I decided it a fun pool party needed to happen. What better way to say goodbye to summer than with swimming with family and friends and enjoying great food? I made some delicious Turkey Hummus Wraps and some Southwest Chicken Wraps that were the star of the show that I wanted to share with you today!
I wanted my party food to be light and easy since it’s been so hot lately, and I definitely did NOT want to turn on the oven and be working in the kitchen for hours. I used a lot of Pacific Foods‘ products that made the party a huge success, and made my job as hostess VERY easy!
Pacific Foods Organic Hummus was the inspiration for the delicious turkey hummus wraps I served. What’s unique about this hummus is that it comes in a shelf-stable carton, which I am a huge fan of! The hummus has an amazing texture, and tastes just like it was freshly made. You’d never belive it wasn’t homemade! It comes in roasted red pepper, roasted garlic, and classic flavors.
Turkey Hummus Wraps:
- Wraps (I used a spinach wrap)
- Pacific Foods Hummus
- Sliced turkey (I used pepper turkey)
- Sliced cheese (I used an amazing smoked cheddar)
- Lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
The directions are simple- just spoon on the hummus and spread on the wrap, add all the ingredients in the above order, roll, cut, and eat! It doesn’t get much easier (or delicious) than that!
Next up were the Southwest Chicken Wraps. These guys included Pacific’s new all natural Salsa con Queso dip and Organic Refried Black Beans.
Southwest Chicken Wraps:
- Wraps (I used whole wheat)
- Pacific refried beans
- Pacific Salsa con Queso dip
- Sliced chicken breast
- Pepperjack cheese
- Lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced bell peppers
- corn kernels
- Avocado, olives, Mexican rice, and/or whatever other delicious toppings you’d like
Spread the refried beans evenly onto the wraps, then spread the salsa con queso dip onto that. Add the rest of the ingredients in the order listed above, and then roll, cut, and enjoy!
I served these tasty wraps with some fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries on the side. Sliced cantaloupe and honeydew were served in bowls on the side, because in my humble opinion, you can never have too much fruit!
I also sliced some bell peppers, carrots, and celery, and served those with more of the hummus.
The salsa con queso dip also made another appearance in a bowl with some tortilla chips as a tasty accompaniment to the wraps.
All in all, it was a wonderful party and we all had a great time. Good fresh food, family, friends, and fun! What more can a girl ask for?
Be sure to try Pacific’s new Salsa con Queso dip and all their tasty varieties of hummus…. they are SERIOUSLY good!
