This past weekend I was browsing through the craft store when I saw those plain, cardboard letters. I wanted to make them into decorations for Valentine’s Day, so I bought an X and an O, and some…. glitter!! I turned those plain boring letters into super sparkly shimmering shining holiday decor. And you can easily make yourself some too!
- Letters X and O
- Mod Podge
- Foam brush
- Red glitter
- Clear glossy spray sealer (I used Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze)
I glittered over this cool contraption I bought a few years ago, that collects the glitter, and then you pour the glitter back into the jar through a little spout. Love…

You’re welcome, I love that you made this Jody! I bought one of those cute heart boxes, too, but haven’t gotten around to doing those yet. So many crafts so little time 😉 Thanks for sharing!

I have two daughters and we are very crafty. Glitter is a staple in our house. LOVE the idea of sealing it with clear glossy spray! Now that will be a staple as well. Thank you!
