Easter Bunny Paper Lantern
Whip up one of these cute Easter lanterns in under 5 minutes!
Easter Bunny Paper Lantern Supplies
- White paper lantern
- White, pink, and black paper
- Scissors
- Glue gun
- Sizzix Big Shot (optional)
- Sizzix Circles Framelits die set (optional)
Making the Bunny Face
Cut two circles out of black paper to make the eyes.
Cut a smaller triangle shape, then a long very thin rectangle for the nose and the mouth.
Use a glue gun or craft glue to glue them onto the white paper lantern.
Cutting the Pink Cheeks
I used my Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine to cut perfect cheek circles.
If you don’t have a Big Shot, don’t worry!
You can also cut the cheeks out yourself.
To cut with the Big Shot, make a Sizzix sandwich with a magnetic platform, a cutting pad, pink paper, a circle die, and the other cutting pad on top.
Roll it all through the Big Shot machine, then glue the pink cheek circles onto the paper lantern.
If you don’t have a Big Shot, then you can use your Cricut machine, or just cut circles out yourself.
Adding the Paper Bunny Ears
Cut two long ears out of thick white paper, then cut out the smaller pink insides of the ears.
Glue the white and pink pieces together to form the ears.
Next, glue the ears onto the bunny paper lantern by folding the bottom inch of each ear backwards, then gluing the folded part down.
Pretty simple, right?
Isn’t she just darling?
An Easter bunny paper lantern (or two or three or four) is a great way to decorate for Easter.
This would be a great Easter craft to do with the kids too!
