Summer is almost here, and I can’t wait for my favorite season! To celebrate the school year almost being over, I threw a little pool party and created a fun beach ball garland DIY to share with you!
I love that this beach ball garland is colorful and fun, yet is so simple to make. Once the balls are blown up, it will take about 2 minutes to make, which means more time playing and less time prepping!
Beach Ball Garland DIY
Supplies:
- Beach balls (I scored mine for $1 each at my local dollar store)
- Twine or string
Directions:
Step 1. Blow up all the balls. This is the part that takes the longest. You can also get help from others or use a pump or an air compressor.
I bought 9 balls, but only ended up using 7. Measure how long your space or table is, then figure out how many balls you will need to fill that space.
Step 2. Cut a long piece of twine or string as long as you would like your garland. Place the twine through the loop of the plastic piece where you blow up the ball.
You can either try pressing the twine through the hole, or just undo the plastic part of the balloon, place the string inside, then put the little plastic piece back on the beach ball.
Keep stringing those beach balls until the garland is as long as you would like it.
That’s it! Now tie or tape the garland where you would like it, and you’re ready to party!
Nothing says summer like swimming and ice cream, right? I surprised my kiddos with the new Nestlé Drumstick S’mores variety pack.
I mean, with flavors like Toasted Marshmallow Fudge, Chocolate Marshmallow, and Toasted Marshmallow how could I resist?
I know my kids love the new S’mores flavors because they actually got out of the pool to eat them. 😉
It’s practically impossible to get them out of the pool, so this was definitely a mom win for me!
This little got out for ice cream, but good luck getting those floaties off. 😉
Be sure to look for the new Nestlé Drumstick S’mores the next time you’re at the store so you can celebrate summer any day, anywhere! You can also learn more about them here.
Let the countdown to summer begin!
