How to Make Essential Oil Room Spray
Ingredients and Supplies:
- Distilled water
- Witch hazel
- Essential oils (I use Simply Earth oils)
- 2 oz. Spray bottles
- Printable white vinyl (optional, but recommended if you want to print the free labels)
Step 1. Add the specific essential oils for the DIY room spray that you want to make to 2 oz. glass spray bottles. I’ve listed the easy recipes for you below.
Swirl the essential oils around in the spray bottle to mix them up.
Step 2. Fill the bottle halfway with witch hazel. The witch hazel helps bind the oil to the water so that the scent lasts longer.
Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. You don’t want to use tap water because there are impurities in it that will lessen the shelf life of your DIY essential oil room spray.
Step 3. Optional. Print out the free printable labels I made to fit the spray bottles perfectly. I like to print my labels onto white printable Cricut vinyl because it is already sticky on the back and has the perfect surface for an essential oil room spray.

Everything you see above came in my box this month. You really can’t beat the price and it sure makes for a happy mail day and lots of DIY recipes and ideas. I love the labels for each product and DIY recipe.
Before I learned about Simply Earth I had bought essential oils but didn’t do much with them because I wasn’t confident using them. I’m getting more confident experimenting and learning more about what each oil does and how to incorporate them into my daily life. I’m having so much fun in the process!
I’m happy to be adding more natural products into my life too and to know that I’m creating a healthier environment for my family.
