You’ll love these beautiful and helpful Easter candy table ideas that will wow your family and guests this Easter!
Every Easter growing up in my home there were two guarantees…
The first was that my siblings and I would wake up early on Easter morning and hunt through our house to find our hidden Easter baskets.
The second guarantee was that many of those eggs in our baskets would be filled with pretty pastel Easter M&M’s!
I have such fond memories of these colorful candies and wanted to incorporate them into a pretty Easter dessert table.
Our sweet braided Easter bread is another favorite Easter tradition!
Easter Candy Table Ideas
I hope you love these lovely Easter dessert table ideas and the delicious carrot cake cupcakes recipe I’m sharing.
Carrot Cake Cupcakes
I grabbed some new M&M’s Carrot Cake, which tastes absolutely just like carrot cake.
Tasty homemade carrot cake cupcakes were the main attraction of my Easter table.
Each cupcake is topped with a homemade cream cheese frosting, crushed candies, and a chocolate carrot.
These sweet cupcakes tasted SO good!
Check out the recipe and directions for the carrot cake cupcakes at the bottom of the post.
Add Wreaths and Flowers
I found these cute yellow flower cups and knew they would be perfect for displaying the cupcakes on my green cake plate.
When putting together a party table, wreaths are a great way to add a pop of color.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate wreaths is to place them around the base of a cake stand.
I love the bright cheery yellow flowers in this wreath, and it really draws attention to the cake stand and the cupcakes on top!
Full pink flowers add some extra height, color, and texture to the table.
Small Candy Portions
Two smaller matching cake plates held cute little treat cups filled with pastel M&M’s.
I love how they are already in perfect little portion sizes, which makes it easy for guests to just grab to snack on!

Two matching apothecary jars were filled with more candy to match the carrot cake cupcakes.
Colorful Candy Plates
I found the cutest little clear plastic bunny eggs I had to have, so I filled each egg with candies that I sorted by color.
The bunny eggs were placed on two white rectangular plates.
Adding colorful candies to the base of a plate or tray is a great way to add texture, color, and fun to the table.

This is one of my favorite Easter dessert table ideas for an Easter party or any themed party!
Now they are just too cute to resist!
Adding Baked Goods to the Dessert Table
Baked goods are a wonderful addition to any Easter dessert table or Easter candy table.
These carrot cake cookies with cream cheese frosting that I bought tasted great, and were a fun addition to the carrot theme!
Mini cakes with fresh-cut strawberries on top added some color and fruit to the table.
Adding the Drinks
Milk is essential when eating chocolate, so I had four large bottles of milk for pouring into cups.
One little friend thought that cups weren’t necessary though, and since he was so cute, we let him… 😉
We had such a wonderful time together at our party, and I am vowing to do it all again soon!
These helpful Easter candy table ideas are all ideas I incorporate in every party and table I decorate.

Easter Carrot Cake Cupcakes
If you would like a delicious spring treat for Easter, you’ve got to try these yummy carrot cake cupcakes!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 cups shredded carrots (about 5 medium)
- Cream cheese frosting (I used Martha’s recipe)
Directions
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cupcake liners in a muffin tin, or use baking cups that you can cook the cupcakes right in (like I did).
Step 2. Place all the ingredients in a Kitchen Aid or medium-bowl and mix on low-speed for 30 seconds, making sure to scrape the bowl. Beat on high-speed for 3 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Pour into baking cups.
Step 3. Bake between 45-50 minutes, removing from the oven when a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Let cool thoroughly, then frost with cream cheese frosting.
Step 4. Optional- Use a large knife to chop the M&M’s Carrot Cake candies into large pieces, and place on top of each cupcake. Add a chocolate carrot to the center of each cupcake and serve.
Recipe adapted from Betty Crocker’s carrot cake recipe.
