How to Make Darling EASY Easter Bunny Jars

Make these sweet, simple Easter bunny jars from baby jars this Easter. These Easter candy jars are adorable and practically free to make!

These darling glass Easter jars are SO cute that no one will believe they’re made from baby food jars.

I remember as a young mom how hard it was for me to throw those baby jars away.

I just knew I could make something amazing out of them and reuse and recycle at the same time.

A darling bunny jar is the perfect way to reuse those baby jars that pile up when you have small kids.

They’re petite, durable, and FREE if you have a baby (or a friend with a baby)!

With a little creativity, these Easter bunny jars can be used as Easter decorations, filled up with treats and given away, or displayed as a special surprise at the Easter table.

Painted Easter Bunny Jars

These cute little Easter jars are sure to make someone smile!

Supplies:

Spray Painting the Easter Jars

Spray the outside of each jar with white spray paint.

Paint multiple layers of thin, even coats for the best coverage and to avoid drips, then let dry.

I sprayed these right side up on newspaper with the lids left on, since I didn’t want any paint going inside the jars.

Let dry between coats, then let the jars dry thoroughly before the next step.

Painting the Easter Bunny Details

Use a small paintbrush and a little black paint to paint two tiny eyes.

Next, add a little triangle nose with a small line going straight down from the nose.

Lastly, paint two small pink circles for rosy cheeks on the bunny jar.

Making the Bunny Ears

Cut out two ears for each glass bunny jar from white felt, making sure they are the right size for each jar.

Use a glue gun to carefully add a thick line of glue on the top center of the jar.

Then, press the ears right down into the glue and let cool.

Aren’t those the cutest little bunny ears?

And aren’t you just amazing for making cute Easter bunny jars (out of jars that were probably going to be thrown away)?

One of these would make a great little Easter candy jar that’s a smaller serving size, instead of making bigger Easter mason jars.
