Hello again! Hope you all had a wonderful and restful Christmas filled with family, friends, and love. I took much more time off than I had intended due to the whole family getting very sick, especially me. Not fun, but we're just about back to normal over here. In early December I had the privilege of putting together a program for the 12-18 year-old girls at my church, called Young Women in Excellence. It's a wonderful night where we showcase the girls and all of the amazing talents ... [ Read More ]
Glitter Bow Ornaments
Happy December! This is absolutely my most favorite time of the year. I love everything about December and Christmas! We just bought our tree (we went artificial for the first time this year), and I thought I'd try making a few ornaments this year. We honestly have enough ornaments that we've bought from Pottery Barn over the last 14 years to fill at least 5 Christmas trees, but I fell in love with the new Sizzix Brenda Walton French Bow die, and I thought it would make the most beautiful ... DIY Hot Air Balloon Garland
I've always been a sucker for a good garland, and today I'm sharing one that I've been working on for an upcoming party- a hot air balloon garland! I used my trusty Big Shot and the Sizzix Thinlits Square with Accordian Center Folds Card die set. I didn't use most of the pieces in the set, just the hot air balloon die. This project coordinates really well with my hot air balloon favor boxes that I shared on the Sizzix blog recently. First, I used the hot air balloon die, made a "Sizzix ... [ Read More ]
