She used her basic slime recipe and adapted it a little to make this gorgeous glittery mermaid slime that just screams summer. It’s our favorite slime concoction yet!

What is Mermaid Slime?

Mermaid slime is a gorgeous sparkling glitter slime that looks just like a mermaid tail. It is stretchy, colorful, and so much fun to play with!

It would be perfect for a Mermaid Birthday Party, a Little Mermaid Party, or even an Under the Sea Party.

Glitter Slime Ingredients

This easy slime recipe has only 5 basic ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Elmer’s Clear Glue
  • 6 drops blue, 1 drop yellow food coloring
  • Irridescent and blue glitter
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

These would make PERECT mermaid party favors too that any little mermaid or merman will love!

    Slime Storing Tips

I bought some cute plastic cups with lids that we store all our slime in. It makes it really easy to give slime away to friends, family, and for party favors.

Be sure to store your slime in an airtight container. A sealed Ziploc bag with the excess air pushed out works well too.
